Customer Service Coordinator


Our Pharmaceutical Systems Business Unit is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services.   More than 600 production lines in 13 countries globally, responsible for producing more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.  We think customers, users and patients first.  We think people! 

Your Tasks

  • Enter customer and market related information into the CRM; also create material master data and ensure that customer master data is accurate and current
  • Establish credit limits, while also independently creating credit and debit notes
  • Independently process customer inquiries and prepare offers; clarify technical feasibility and costs, along with specifying payment and delivery terms and dates, according to established guidelines
  • Manage customer forecasts by using ERP system- SAP
  • Create and track customer orders; inform customers and sales team in case of deviations or issues; in such cases, request information on technical customer requirements and coordinate specifications with customers and applicable internal departments
  • Update selling prices in SAP in coordination with other responsible departments; document change request in appropriate system(s)
  • Optimize cockpit key figures according to the Sales process; along with providing support to optimize all departmental processes
  • Participate and/or lead projects within area of responsibility
  • Coordinate complaints between customers and internal complaint management contacts
  • Help cultivate new employee talent through applicable trainings, etc.
  • Keep current regarding new legal requirements and market developments
  • Support “cross-company” opportunities, including, selling between pharmaceutical packaging sites, providing information to other Production sites, proactively informing other sites about newly improved methodologies or approaches, and sharing knowledge on relevant Company procedures including I.T. systems and packages
  • Maintain a safe, clean and secure workstation by adhering to Company compliance standards, procedures and regulations

Your Profile

  • Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience required; B.S. preferred in Business
  • Minimum of three (3) to (5) years of professional experience in Customer Service, Sales or Order Processing
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and processes is desired 
  • Solid experience in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP is highly preferred; including knowledge in Sales/Distribution module (SD), Customer Relationship Management module (CRM), Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Knowledge in a foreign language such as Spanish or German is a plus but not required
