Visual Inspector/Packer I

Our Pharmaceutical Systems Business Unit is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries globally, responsible for producing more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.  We think customers, user and patients first.  We think people!

Your Tasks
  • Packaging: Performs customer specific packing procedures. Packs products of acceptable quality based on customer accepted criteria.
  • Quality: Monitors product quality, communicates, documents and reacts to problems. Follows quality reaction procedures. Routinely, selects samples which will be handed over to the Final Quality Assurance as well as directly to the customer.
  • Cleaning: Performs routine daily cleaning of packing area. Makes efficient use of non-production time to meet departmental needs; re-inspects, cleans or assists in other departments.
  • Machine Preparation: Assists in preparing machines and machine area for a job charge.
Your Profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing or quality environment preferred. Ability to lift 5 to 10 lbs on a frequent basis. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on an infrequent basis (3 to 4 times per 12 hour day). Effective communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of AIS (Automated Inspection System; sample collection, clear jams, etc.)
