Warehouse Operator


Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical primary packaging and analytical lab services. More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer.

Your Tasks

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:   This position under limited supervision is responsible for successfully moving materials, supplies and finished goods through the facility. Additionally this role is responsible for loading finished goods from warehouse into delivery trucks. Verifies that drivers have proper paperwork, product verifications have been complete and all required SAP transactions are complete. Responsible for processing pallet preparation for storage and shipping as required by the customer’s specification. Will help manage site recycling and following the established process. Will use SAP in order to look up inventory locations, article information, order information and other requirements as part of standard work. May require the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.

  • Receives and visually inspects incoming goods regarding completeness, possible damages and sound condition. Organizes the unloading process, disposes packing material.
  • Prepares finished good pallets for shipment to the customer’s specifications.
  • Completes all shipping documents as well as pre-shipment product/order verification. Loads trucks under consideration of relevant safety regulations regarding the transport.
  • Organizes the storage of goods in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for material movements in order to support the needs of production and other departments.
  • Executes real-time postings in SAP according to physical material movements by using the available technical equipment. As well as shipping, receiving and material transactions.
  • Supports in planned warehouse cycle counts and verifies inventory/location accuracy as part of standard work.
  •  Ensures the compliance to safety-related specifications (personal safety equipment matrix, emergency exits.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of (1) to (2) years of experience working in a warehouse or logistics role
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Experience working in an international manufacturing setting
  • Ability to work in a matrix structured organization
  • Forklift license


  • Understanding of shipping and logistics
  • Prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Inventory control and management
