Trainee Market Intelligence / International Graduate Program (m/f/d)

For our Global Market Intelligence team in Mainz we are looking for a Graduate (Trainee) Market Intelligence (m/f/d) for a duration of 24 months effective 1st October 2019, who wants to develop and move SCHOTT sales and innovations forward. 

Your Tasks
  • Set-up, manage and develop Market Intelligence (MI) IT infrastructure in collaboration with BUs, Corp. Functions and external parties and drive digitalization to the next level
  • Support Corporate Marketing in managing marketing platforms
  • Set-up and maintenance of regular market monitorings and deliverables
  • Conduct and execute market analyses and ad-hoc research projects internationally
  • Develop data sourcing channels
  • Establish and further improve market data models to forecast market opportunities, size and volumes
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree in economics, preferably with major in market intelligence/market research
  • Solid analytical skills, affinity to statistics, knowledge in accounting and finance, strategic thinking
  • Ability to work through large amount of data (quantitative, qualitative) in a structured way
  • Team player with excellent communication and networking skills (service-oriented mindset)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, plus an affinity to IT solutions
  • Profound level of English and German (both oral and written)
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt communication to target group (includes presentations in front of top management)
  • First professional experience in market and competitive intelligence gained during internships
