Your Tasks


  • Ensuring all hourly employees are properly trained their current job assignments along with a plan for further trainings to broaden their area of expertise.
  • All training will be planned, documented, verified and periodically validated. (topic dependent)
  • Develop line / job specific training activities that focus on maximizing the stability of value added processes.
  • Training activities will be scheduled in a manner that continuously raises the overall ability of our workforce while incurring the least amount of disruption to production as possible.
  • Training activities performed (by trainer or assignee) shall be valid, thorough, quantified and certified by the trainer & the trainee.
  • Training records (TWI's, schedules, verification sheets) will be maintained in a structured manner that is intuitive and accessible to interested parties.
  • Capable of effectively using and training the TWI methodology.
  • Maintenance and communication of the "4 square" training matrix.
  • Conduct orientation of new employees according to established requirements.
  • Support new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure new hires read and comprehend Quality and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in applicable communication meetings and provide feedback to management on new hire and employee progress.
  • Help implement IMSU/EHS directives and promote/maintain a clean and safe workspace in area of responsibility.

Your Profile


  • High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Minimum (2) years of hand-on training experience in a manufacturing role
  • Exposure to flat glass processes glass desirable
  • Sound understanding of MS Office applications
