Your Contribution

Responsbilities: 

1.Responsible for day-to-day operation of our global VMware, Storage and Server environment including owning, tracking and resolving related incidents, services requests, and change requests
2. Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot backup failures, performance issues, and system failures.
3. Install, configure and maintain Debian and Redhat Linux Servers, Kubernetes.
4. Preform Data restorations
5. Document configurations, policies, and procedures related to backup infrastructure
6. Capacity Planning
7. Incident , Change and Service Request Handling
8. Ensure Data Security
9. Install & Configure VMWARE Environment and Nutanix.
10. Security Management for Backup, VMWARE Platform
11.Design, implement, and optimize backup strategies to ensure data security and availability 
12.Perform regular maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning
13.Work closely with cross-functional teams to support backup and recovery needs for databases, applications, and virtual environments.
14.Implement disaster recovery plans and test backup restorations to ensure reliability.
15.Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams regarding backup and recovery strategies.
16.Participate in 24 hour on call rotation
 

Your Profile

Requirements
1. Preferred knowledge with system monitoring such as CheckMk
2. Strong understanding of Debian /Redhat Linux systems and kubernetes.
3. Knowledge of Python, Perl, and Bash is often required.
4. Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts
5 Proficient with VMWARE ESXI, Dell Host, VXRAIL,nutanix Windows and Linux OS and kubernetes.
6. Familiar with SQL DB and backup of SQL DB
7.Knowledge of networking and storage 
8. Hands-on experience troubleshooting backup failures in VMware vCenter and Linux Server environments.
9.Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident management.
10.Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation is a plus.
