Your Contribution

  • Sales / Technical Sales
    Handles product inquiries and assesses technical feasibility. Clarifies technical questions with contacts in technology centers, supply chain management, and purchasing. Evaluates sales opportunities, proposes solutions, and prepares cost estimates and prices for quotes based on the sales and marketing strategy. Responsible for technical negotiations with customers regarding product specifications, considering the commercial goals of the respective product. Develops and implements sales concepts. Supports the sales team in negotiating long-term contracts. Responsible for internal and external approvals of changes to product specifications and/or production processes, materials, and suppliers. Leads or participates in projects based on customer inquiries. Conducts competitive analyses, including benchmarking products and technologies. Responsible for cooperation with relevant business partners, such as filling machine manufacturers.
  • Technical Expert
    Acts as a technical contact person for customers and sales teams regarding products, product development, or applications. Proposes and approves necessary development measures for technology and product improvements. Maintains the network with other experts inside and outside the company in accordance with the SCHOTT Code of Conduct. Negotiates customer specifications at eye level.
  • Supporting Tasks
    Provides and updates technical information for communication and training purposes. Trains sales teams on new products, applications, and technologies. Coordinates the production of prototypes for customers and trade fairs. Supports the global or regional product strategy; assists the division in defining the roadmap; makes suggestions for annual R&D planning. Creates and analyzes market- and customer-specific information and data in assigned markets.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, natural sciences, or economics.
  • More than 3 years of experience in technical B2B sales; experience in customer care and project management (preferably in the pharmaceutical field).
  • Excellent command of the English language, CRM
