Your Contribution
- Identify new business opportunities and relationships for product growth; advise Sales on market and customer requirements
- Push business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers
- Develop new projects for existing customers, while fostering new and innovative products
- Develop in-depth market intelligence regarding area of product responsibility; analyze and assess customer information, market conditions and competitors
- Act of subject matter expert on existing and new application segments; promote the sales of designated products
- Analyze future requirements regarding products, services, business models, and players
- Monitor competitive landscape
- Identify and evaluate new partners within the value chain and define level and structure of partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities and seek to create project drafts for execution
- Maintain up to date knowledge of designated products and requirements and train any applicable contacts, as needed
- Apply product knowledge to attract new customers to define and develop specifications
- Keep product specifications up to date and in accordance with global manufacturing capabilities
- Interface with customers and account managers to obtain the required background information on projects; deveop aciton plans
- Support preparation of rolling FC and FY 3+ sales budget; provide long-term sales prognosis on project basis
- Attend tradeshows/seminars
- Report project progress monthly to management
- Travel, as required, to fulfill the requirements of the functions defined above
- Follow cGMP
- Following all Company policies and procedures, along with Code of Conduct
- Promote EHS in area of responsibility; foster a safe work envionment at all times
Your Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Pharmacy or Supply Chain or related field, required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development of parenteral drugs (technical or sales related) within business to business envionrment of an international organization
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical packaging, medical device or biotechnology, strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated project management skill, along with conceptual skills
- Well-organized and highly motivated
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced work environment
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Effective written and oral interpersonal communication skills
- Required Travel: 60%
