Your Contribution

General Activities

• Administrating and maintaining Production IT systems according the central IT methods.
• Supports Production in processes of incident, request, change via standard tools.
• Acts as system owner of dedicated Production IT systems, supports in implementations, operations, problem solving of production systems (e.g. Inspection and Control).
• Cooperates with central, internal and external supplier’s technical teams.
• Supports system improvements and distributes the know-how to other SCHOTT plants worldwide.
• Ensures that the documentation on IT products is up-to-date.
• Analyzes disruptions, creates disruption reports, classifies disruptions, provides immediate elimination support, coordinates measures for reinstating normal business operations.

Customer Orientation

• Knows the demands resulting from the customer requirements and fulfills these self-sufficiently.
• Creates solutions in the interest of the customers in coordination with IT Team Leader and the central IT specifications.
• Provides stable services for customers in compliance with the agreed service level.
• Acts as reliable IT partner for the internal customers.
• Actively supports roll-outs as IT professional.
• Communicates department requirements to IT.
• Communicates IT topics in the departments and pays attention to implementation of valid IT guidelines and standards.

Data protection – Information Security

• Sensitizes users regarding data protection and security policies.
• Sensitizes supervisors regarding to notifications of change department specific topics.
• Reports data protection offenses and security issues.

DevOps Prototyping

• Identifying issues and opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Create prototypes of concepts/solutions/tools then present them to developers for implementation.
• Discovers how systems should be configured.
• Identify the problems code updates should address.
• Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure services.
• Contribute to success in local projects implementing, supporting new IT/OT solutions.

Your Profile

• IT Engineer (BSc./ MSc.), preferably qualified IT specialist in industrial systems
• At least 5 years IT experience in production relevant field, MS Office, knowledge of MS domain environment, project experience
• Windows systems, applications, IT infrastructure (NW, servers, virtualization, etc.), information and data protection, IT-security, business process and developments
• Fluent English skills
• Project management skills

Expert knowledge

• General IT development and IT strategies/processes
• Data protection
• High level knowledge of computer system validation processes and requirements, understanding of GAMP5 guideline
• Active use of contacts and connections to internal customers
• Active use of knowledge in managing Pharma Production IT infrastructure services
• Coordinating internal/external service providers
• Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure services
• Extensive knowledge of industrial IT in content of Pharma Production
• Good knowledge of the IT project management manual
• Good communication skills in the international environment
