To strengthen our information technology team we are looking for a Project Manager* IT with focus on supervision and implementation of international IT projects while being the main contact person for our customers. Join us as IT Project Manager Digitalization (m/f/d)* for SCHOTT Pharma at our headquarter in Mainz, Germany.

Your Contribution

As an IT Project Manager, you will drive digitalization at SCHOTT Pharma by providing future-proof and state-of-the-art technologies while putting your internal customers first. 

• You are responsible for project planning, preparation and management based on a defined project scope derived from IT and business requirements
• In managing all relevant aspects of a digitalization project in coordination, you will be the sparrings partner for our internal clients regarding time, costs, scope, resources, issues and risks, change requests
• Controlling external service providers on the basis of the contractually agreed service description will be also one part of your responsibilities
• Successfully assembling and leading high-performing project teams and delivering high quality results within the stage gate process
• Acting as "primus inter pares" and having, in addition to the higher responsibility and independence in the performance of the above activities, additional coaching and quality-enhancing tasks
   

Your Profile

• University degree in computer science / business informatics (alternatively scientific studies with IT experience) 
• Additional qualification preferred (e.g. practical training, business administration, MBA, further engineering discipline)
• More than 5 years of experience in planning and implementation of international projects of medium to high complexity
• More than 3 years of experience as dedicated project manager in an international B2B organization, preferably in manufacturing industry
• Knowledge and methodical competence in project management (IPMA)
• Very good command of English language (spoken and written), German language skills beneficial
