Join our Sales Excellence Glasslover team as Sales Excellence Manager, based in Mainz. The SCHOTT Corporate Sales Excellence Program was designed to help the SCHOTT businesses in delivering an outstanding customer and selling journey at every touchpoint.

Your Contribution

  • As part of our project teams, you will collaborate with the leaders and experts of our Business Units to drive performance improvements in strategic commercial areas such as Pricing, Sales, and process excellence initiatives
  • You will execute sales, pricing and process excellence sub-projects by your own in our international subsidiaries with support of the local commercial teams
  • Your role will involve conducting interviews, analyzing data, process mining, developing improvement initiatives and lean commercial processes, and supporting implementation activities in collaboration with local commercial teams and IT
  • Each project will present unique challenges due to the diverse nature of our operating companies and the dynamic markets they operate in. This will provide you with continuous learning and growth opportunities
  • You will contribute to expanding our existing Sales Excellence Toolbox with new approaches and best practices

Your Profile

  • You hold a business or technical degree with excellent academic performance
  • You have professional experience in commercial excellence methodologies such as value selling and pricing, and Lead-to-Order process excellence,
  • We welcome candidates with at least 3 years experience (a) working for top management consulting firms and/or (b) leading industry companies
  • Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data analysis are essential
  • You should be highly motivated, reliable, eager to learn, open-minded and a team player
  • Taking initiative and ownership is important to you, and you are not someone who waits for instructions
