Service Manager* SAP Basis

 

You have a broad SAP know-how and experience in the support and administration of in-house SAP systems. You want to ensure the worldwide operation of SAP?

To strengthen our SAP Basis & Infrastructure team within our Information Technology division at our headquarter in Mainz, we are looking for a Service Manager* SAP Basis to start as soon as possible.

 

 

Your Tasks

  • Your main tasks include ensuring a globally stable SAP Basis operation of approx. 40 SAP systems (ERP, HCM, CRM, GTS, GRC, BO/BI, PI, IDM, Solution Manager) with more than 5000 users worldwide
  • You are responsible for the operation and configuration of the Solution Manager
  • In addition, you are also responsible for the implementation of the S/4 Hana migration for the SAP Basis 
  • You act as an interface to departments outside of IT as well as other internal IT teams, such as Infrastructure, Logistics, HR, BI and CRM
  • You are responsible for the implementation of SAP upgrades and patches
  • The monitoring and continuous optimization of our SAP applications is also part of your responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the technical coordination with external service providers

Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in the field of (business-) informatics or a comparable education within information technology
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience with focus on the operation of SAP application servers (ABAP/JAVA) 
  • Experience with the SAP Solution Manager, especially Transport Management, Service Management, Test Suite, Test Automation and Monitoring is essential
  • You have practical experience in the management of sub-projects as well as in problem analysis in the SAP Basis environment
  • You have a sound understanding of service management processes according to ITIL 
  • You show a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as good communication skills, also in English
