Your Contribution

• Responsible of developing and transferring new products and process technologies from R&D to high volume manufacturing
• In charge of ramping up new products and technologies for consumer electronics customer in an agile environment
• Overall responsibility of the NPI Project Management, Product Engineering and Process Engineering team with > 30 people
• Accountable for setting up new manufacturing lines with Capex >50mio Euro
• Direct interaction with key customer project members and customer senior management
• Formulate and deploy product and process improvement roadmaps incl cost down activities.
• In charge for budget, project execution, operational excellence and staff development
• Work cross-functionally in a collaborative mode with multiple groups including R&D, NPD, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions according to project plans.

Your Profile

• MSC/Ph.D Degree in Mechatronics / Electronic Engineering / Photonics / Physics / Optics
• 15-20 years experience in Leadership positions within the semiconductor or optical industry
• Product and manufacturing process know how in the semiconductor or optical industry.
• Experience in ramping up new products and technologies for consumer electronics customer
• Excellent know how in problem solving and 6sigma methods
• Good experience in project management
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Leadership and organizational abilities
• Ability to make decisions in complex situations
• Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment
• Target driven personality with high execution focus
