1. Process & Data Analysis

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement & under consideration of defined goals (e.g. zero inefficiency in process, minimize production costs and/or SG&A costs, ensure reliable KPIs, etc.).
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders and management.
• Perform more complex statistical analysis, forecasting, and data modeling.
• Assess and recommend the best analytical method & scope for the analytical use case to business stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather process-/data related information.
• Guide (junior) process analyst on the best analytical technique for use case.

2. Dashboard & Data Visualization

• Design and maintain business & operations critical dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic KPIs in AO's key reporting platform.
• Develop AO standard dashboard layout and establish design philosophy for front-end data visualization layout. 
• Standardize reporting structures and ensure adherence to defined calculation formula.
• Lead harmonization efforts of reporting standards across AO organizations. Ensure transparency in reporting and maintain a clear documentation.

3. Process Management

• Document new or update existing business processes including data flows, dependencies as well as roles and responsibilities.
• Prepare process maps, flowcharts and other documentation types to illustrate processes.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owner and Management to review process efficiency and performance.
• Identify and assess process inefficiencies and deviations from standard process and recommend counter-measures to the responsible Business Process Owner and Management.
• Recommend improvement measures to Business Process Owner and Management with close alignment on global standards.
• Drive improvement efforts for a standardized, global system to monitor AO Operations KPIs.
• Develop training plan for effective use of dashboards on all stakeholder levels and provide support to Business Process Owner in data-related process training.

4. Data Quality & Governance

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data used in ERP and other related systems for reporting and analytics.
• Establish and uphold data governance practices, including data definitions, metadata, and data standards.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or process gaps affecting reporting quality.
• Develop governing framework with Business Process Owners, Master Data Stewards and Smart Manufacturing Engineers within the plants on data quality topics.

5. Data Architecture & Analytical Solutions

• Develop the design of data models and data pipelines in collaboration with IT.
• Drive improvements to data structures and reporting frameworks.
• Assess and recommend tools for data processing and visualization.

6. Communication

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into reporting insights.
• Act as counter-part to departments for data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Define project requirements with Global Business Process Owners and other global functions to ensure conformity to global governance and reporting standards.
• Maintain a good and professional relationship with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Exchange with data analytics community in SCHOTT for best practice and advocate for joint collaboration.

7. Mentoring

• Mentor and support (junior) process analysts in analytical methods, tools, and best practices.

Your Profile

• Must have basic to intermediate SAP ERP, SAP BW knowledge
• Data and business analytics
• Advanced knowledge in Power BI
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in M365 tools
• Excellent command of English
• Strong understanding of business process
• Posses general skills/attributes such as Motivation, Commitment, Negotiation skills, Interpersonal skills, Documentation skills, Structured and Logical Thinking
• Posses a min 5 years of experience in data analytics / business analytics
• Posses a Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Industrial Engineering/Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and experience required
