More than 600 production lines in 13 countries worldwide produce more than 10 billion syringes, vials, ampoules, cartridges and special articles of tubing glass or polymer. We provide new technologies, process knowhow and equipment to all production sites of the Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems. We are looking for two process engineers for the development department in our global Technology Division as soon as possible. Young professionals are highly welcome.

Your tasks

  • If your heart beating for polymer solutions: you hold responsibility for sub projects or work packages in high impact projects in the field of polymer production.

  • If your heart beating for sterile solutions: you define requirements for new equipment and working closely with internal and external partners.

  • You collaborate with the product development in designing injection-moulded parts or in designing ready to use products.

  • You develop with internal or external partners new technologies, processes and equipment for efficient, robust and state of the art production processes at our sites.

  • You bring new equipment into operation with our partners, support FAT/SAT up to transfer to production.

  • You validate the processes according to our development process and regulations (e.g. GMP).

  • You continuously improve internal processes and methods in your area of responsibility.

  • Travelling to global production sites and suppliers can be up to 30%.

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering or apprenticeship with further education in polymer technology or Degree in engineering or equivalent education with mechanical or mechatronic basic knowledge.

  • Several years of professional experience in polymer technology, designing injection-moulded parts and injection moulding processes or in the development of new manufacturing processes or equipment in a clean room environment.

  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable with interactions on all hierarchy levels.

  • Structured way of working, conceptual and interdisciplinary thinking and systematic problem solving (SixSigma).

  • Leadership skills to drive new technical solutions.

  • Good command of German and English language.

  • Knowledge in GMP documentation of advantage.
