Your Contribution

• Planning: Based on guidelines from Head of Quality Management BU Advanced Optics, plans and coordinates all necessary QA, QC, QE, and metrology &reliability activities of Taizhou (Zhejiang) site.
• Quality management: Prepares specifications for intermediate and final products. Ensures that proper IQC, IPQC and OQC processes are running. 
• Customer Service: Works with Schott global and regional quality team to support customers on quality topics.
• Improvements: Develops and implements improvement concepts including flow diagrams for quality processes.
• Quality Administration: Responsible for ISO internal audits.  Ensures that all quality plans and processes are properly documented and readily available.
• Supervisory Duties: Leads, coaches, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures. Promotes quality culture and mindset in the shopfloor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

• Min. of 10 years of vocational experience in production, engineering, supply chain and quality etc.; Minimum 7 years experience in quality management.
• University Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent command of the English and Chinese language. German language is a plus.
• Extensive Lean and EHS knowledge. Six Sigma qualification preferred.
• Good communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.
