Your Contribution

As a Production Chief, you will lead production activities, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost objectives while developing people and promoting a Lean Manufacturing culture.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising production activities and personnel, ensuring compliance with production schedules, process controls, quality requirements, and company standards. 
  • Leading and developing supervisors and group leaders to achieve departmental goals and maintain effective production operations.
  • Planning and leading Lean projects, Kaizen workshops, and initiatives such as 5S and SMED to improve productivity, efficiency, and process performance.
  • Developing and monitoring the Lean Road Map and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Management and the Lean Champion.
  • Ensuring the availability of materials, tools, resources, and training required to meet production plans.
  • Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and other areas on new processes and continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitoring production performance, quality, labor, capacity, cycle times, and yields to identify opportunities and support operational and budget planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, health, quality, and production policies and procedures.
  • Promoting employee development, performance management, and accountability throughout the department.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment; 5 years is desirable.
  • Advanced English proficiency, required for communication and collaboration with global teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic statistics, time and motion studies, ergonomics, and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, SMED, and Kaizen.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop people, and drive continuous improvement.
